What would you do if you had the hots for your cover model?
What would you do if you had to decided between the one thing that wakes up the burning passion inside you and the other you're comfortable with?
Hard. But no, with Caleb at your side, you would not miss any chance.
But life is not easy and Sawyer does not have everything easy. She found Caleb at the gym where she was training, a few looks and few approvals by her author friends, gave her the confidence to talk to him and ask him if he would like to be the model of one her covers.
He noticed her. She of course noticed him, so you would say that the rest is history and the lived happily ever after.
No, no. That would be despise this book, and I recommend you to read it to find more.
Things weren't easy with this couple. Their chemistry was there, the way Caleb inspired Sawyer with his sinful body was really good to see, and Caleb's charm and his jokes and funny comments made everything perfect. Just, that wasn't everything in the cake. She had a long boyfriend and while with Caleb she felt everything, she had many years with the other and she was comfortable, so not a good way to give up everything and follow her Prince charming.
But life works in a strange an amazing way. You would be surprised for the little surprises it gives you and you don't even notice them. So behind the computer, everything get naked, in all its human heat and glory.
The development of the relationship between these hot was a hot and a sweet ride, the kind of connection that works perfectly with the souls, mind and body, the kind that makes you find your inner passion and bring out the best of it.
I really enjoyed and loved this book. If you're looking for a short and hot story, give it Caleb and Sawyer's story a try.
EXCERPT
I straighten up and look at him; he’s come from the party. He has on a black suit with a crisp white shirt and ironically a green tie.
“We match.” I try to smile.
He wipes the tears away from under my eyes and holds my face in his hands. “I picked it to match your eyes. I was hoping you would be there.”
“I’ve missed you,” I admit feeling relieved he hasn’t completely given up on me.
“You have no idea how much I’ve missed you.” He wipes a few more stray tears. I laugh a little, and he smiles. “There’s that smile I love so much. I was watching you all day. You didn’t look at me once.”
“It was so hard.”
“That’s what she said.” He winks, and I let out a real laugh this time.
Starting this process was tedious and nerve-wracking, but my amazing ladies and my fabulous husband have inspired me to take my love for writing to the next step.
My current books are Have I Told You, I Won't Give Up on You, A Very Merry Black Hollywood Christmas, and Give Me All of You, all part of the Black Hollywood Series. Behind the Computer is a new standalone that is not part of the BH series. It's a step outside of my comfort zone, but the story hit me like a ton of bricks so I went with it.
